MIAMI SWIM WEEK WITH TRESemmé PART 2

Image
To say the weather in Miami was misbehaving, is to say nothing at all. Sure it was hot, but I can honestly tell you, combined with 100% humidity the blazing heat is really something. It is precisely the kind of wether that makes you want to abandon everything in favor of taking a nice long soak in the pool and staying there till sundown. But I had people to meet and shows to attend since as I have previously mentioned,  I partnered with  TRESemmé  to attend Miami Swim Week this year, so  spending most of my time underwater was not an option:) As part of this collaboration, I got my hair styled daily and I can't say enough about what a wonderful experience it was and how much I appreciate  TRESemmé's Perfectly un(Done)   line of products! You see, from the moment I stepped off the plane, I had what I would consider pretty legitimate concerns about my hair staying in tact given the weather in Miami. Partially, because my make-up melted off my face within 5 minutes of walking out

And so the dress craze continues... My latest obsession, this lovely pink trapeze number from Paul & Joe Sister. The color and side pockets alone would have been enough to make me absolutely crazy for this dress, but the low-cut, gathered back is precisely the kind of detail that makes this dress one of my all-time favorites:) Perfectly demure from the front, with a bit of sexy detailing in the back... Love that! MIDI ON MY MIND

Wearing what is probably one of my favorite dresses ever... The metallic knit, lace lattice inserts and of course my favorite midi length, all come together to create what is a perfect dress in my opinion:) So good for cocktail hour, I've been so obsessed with this dress, I've actually looked for ways to downplay it a bit so that I could wear it daytime as well. So far, simple strappy flats and a structured cross-body seem to be the winning combination, but I'm reserved to find new ways to wear it just the same. Perhaps boots and leather jacket once it gets a bit cooler... Regardless, I have a feeling you're gonna be seeing quite a bit of it on this blog:) Photography by Karen Rosalie   SELF PORTRAIT Ava lace-insert midi dress { also here } |  CARVELA Gosh black strap heeled  sandals  via ASOS |   ILLESTEVA Boca mirrored sunglasses { in blue  here  } | CHANEL Boy flap  bag   in perforated leather | TIFFANY & CO   Atlas open  ring  | WANDERLUST & CO  rings

MIAMI SWIM WEEK WITH TRESemmé

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have noticed that I partnered with TRESemmé to attend Miami Swim Week this year. As part of this collaboration, not only did I get my hair styled everyday (stay tuned for next week's post where I'll do a step-by-step instruction on how to recreate these looks), but also attended 2016 collection presentations, got to go backstage and watch TRESemmé stylists create amazing hairstyles and talk to them about their favorite hair tips, tricks and of course products! The first of my favorites this year was MIKOH's 2016 collection "ALOHA". Inspired byHawaiian beach culture of the 1970s, the collection was strong, sexy and playful. It included swimwear, ready-to-wear and the coolest neoprene surf suits ever, which were my personal favorite and from this point on, the number one item on my must-have list! Another favorite from this presentation was the hair! As far as the most coveted hairstyles go, for me, beautiful beachy waves a
