HAPPY 2016!

Image
Good morning, Everyone! I would like to start by wishing you all a very happy 2016! May all your dreams and wishes come true and may this year bring you nothing but happiness and joy! Secondly, do you guys have that one item you totally obsess about? I mean you can see it quite clearly in your mind, but just can't seem to find it no matter how hard you look? Well, for me, the search for a perfect chunky winter white cardigan has been a very long one! I envisioned something super slouchy, preferably made from thick yarn for that really cozy look. Yet, no matter how many times I put it right at the top of my must-have list, I never found quite what I was looking for. Either too fitted or not chunky enough, I found a lot of really close ones, just never the absolutely right one:) That is until now! Because I have finally found my unicorn!:) Even better than I could have imagined, it's everything I could have hoped for and more! Because? Duh! Side pockets! Of course my perfect chun...

WINTER BLUES

Image
Be careful what you wish for... I'll be the first to admit that every fall/winter while the rest of the world switches to warmer gear, California weather remains very much Summer-like and warrants nothing resembling coats or boots. And so, I make a big fuss about it, complaining endlessly about not being able to wear my fluffy sweaters and coats. Well, not this year! This year, when I asked for coat weather, I actually got it! And so, be careful what you wish for because somehow, the reality never lives up to the picturesque hot cocoa-sipping, oversized-scarf wearing, sunny winter perfection you imagine! Am I glad I finally get to wear my coats? Sure! But the rainy, windy, cloudy, cold part, not so much! Not so much at all! :)  AYR The Atelier tailored coat | RAG & BONE Grosgrain band floppy brim fedora in pale blue | STUART WEITZMAN All Legs thigh high boots | BANANA REPUBLIC mixed-stitch turtleneck sweater   | Celine bag  JavaScript is currently disabled in ...

THE ALLLEGS

Image
There are many reasons to love fall, but for a shoeaholic like me, fall signals the beginning of that magical time of the year when one gets to go boot shopping again! I mean, you know how I get about footwear in general, but boots are on another level. Honestly, if I could, I'd probably wear boots year-round, all day, every day and with everything!  My first score of the season? These gorgeous ALLLEGS boots from Stuart Weitzman! Since over-the-knee boots happen to be a particular obsession of mine ( Hello, Stuart Weitzman HIGHLAND boots I wore to death last year ), I just couldn't resist adding another pair to my collection. Not only do I adore the color since it works so well with muted greens, camels, creams and lighter denim, the height of the boot makes the style even sexier, striking and more dramatic. These boots are the perfect accessory to fall suede skirts and high waisted denim!  I've only had these boots for a few days, I've already been wearing them non-s...

KALEIDOSCOPE

Image
As you can see, I remain fully committed to wearing every fun and flirty frock imaginable :) This particular printed wonder from EXPRESS is my current favorite thanks to the totally twirl-worthy  silhouette and colorful print! Basically, it's a perfect little summer mini dress . I especially love the fact that you can dress it up with a pair of heels like I did in today's post since I was going out for drinks with my girls or down, with a pair of cute flats and a roomy tote. But of course those are just a few examples, really the possibilities are endless... The other day I had it on with a leather jacket and slouchy boots and absolutely loved the way it looked!  Have a feeling it's going to be one of those pieces you're going to be seeing again and again! You know how I get when I find something I really like:) Hope you don't mind...
