Though I have to admit, I am a little more than partial to lavender in general, this particularly soft shade is definitely one of my favorites. So elegant and feminine, I just love the way it pairs with metallics and my beloved rose gold in particular. I went lace dress rampaiging before I found this lavender dream to wear to a friend's wedding. So much perfection concentrated in one little dress: the lace, the color, the fit and length... I love it all! In fact, I find myself so obsessed I keep inventing ways I can downplay it for daytime. I think I mentioned it before, but I love the time of the year when Jacaranda trees start to bloom across Los Angeles. There is something absolutely magical about taking a stroll under the canopy of these beautiful trees... I also think that I've come to associate blooming jacarandas with the beginning of summer, and of course you all know how much I love summer :) Naturally, since Jacarandas bloom only for a short period of time, I just cannot resist an opportunity to walk on the streets lined with these beautiful trees!
