Wearing my favorite not-so-basic basics and a new studded perfection of a jacket. In a sea of white tees out there, surprisingly a perfect one is not always easy to find. But this one from Rag & Bone is virtually indestructible and survived countless abuses I usually put my t-shirts through. Though I should rather say survived and persevered because somehow it managed to maintain it's original shape! For that reason it's been in heavy rotation, worn with everything from denim to tulle, but today I wanted to go super clean and paired it with white denim and my cropped Kooples jacket. Now, I have never met a studded leather jacket I didn't like, but some studded jackets I love just a little bit more than others and this one happens to be one of those! I went lace dress rampaiging before I found this lavender dream to wear to a friend's wedding. So much perfection concentrated in one little dress: the lace, the color, the fit and length... I love it all! In fact, I find myself so obsessed I keep inventing ways I can downplay it for daytime. Those of you who read my blog on regular basis probably know how important skin care is to me. Though I haven't always been as diligent about taking care of my skin as I am now, once I realized the connection between proper skin care and the state of my skin, I've been religiously giving it the attention it needs. In the past, I've talked about my day-to-day skin-care but I haven't really talked about my weekly skin recovery routine. And so, I would like to take this opportunity to talk a little bit about my Sunday beauty ready routine and about how I prepare my skin and hair for the week ahead. Since I color my hair, it tends to be a bit dry, so in order to keep it shiny and healthy I start by applying a home-made oil mask all over my hair, paying special attention to the scalp.
